My husband and I were thinking of adding a master bedroom & bathroom to our house. We had 5 different companies come and give us an estimate. From the beginning Price Builders stood out. The first encounter was with Albert who came up with an idea and drew it out on paper for us to view. This was a great thing to have because many other companies came out and didn't do a drawing to scale. Its easier to get a feel for the plan when its in front of you to see. We researched all the companies on the BBB and Price Builders had the best rating by far in customer satisfaction. We also were able to see an already previous satisfied customer's home addition. We took all of these areas into consideration & went with Price Builders and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the owner, Leo who's straight forward leadership to the foreman, Jim who made sure that we as customers were informed with all facets of our project & not to forget each and every worker along the way that made us confident in having them make our dream come true. the results are spectacular down to the last detail, all employees were very professional & courteous and we couldn't be happier with the our finished edition. Dear Leo,

I am writing this to thank you for my room addition. I have been living in and enjoying the room addition for over 1 month now and I have had time to reflect on the project.

I was so glad to have an opportunity to work with Albert. I told him what I needed and shared my vision with him and quickly pulled the initial plans together. Finally I felt like this project was going to come to be.

For 5 month prior to Albert’s initial visit, I had been calling contractors. Most of them set up an appointment but never showed up when I explained my needs. The companies that did show up were not thrilled with this project.

I want you to know how impressed I am with the organization of your business. I had in writing the amount I would know owe you as each phase was completed and passed inspection. I knew that I had made a good decision when your concrete team started working. Their attitude was one of wanting to keep me happy, and to meet all of my handicapped needs.

Then when you special ordered my fantastic shower, I knew that I had made the right choice of companies.

No project is perfect. I was shocked when a swarm of termites decided they liked the wood you used for framing, so we had a slight detour.

The plumbers, electricians, roofers and stucco companies were all wonderful to work with. Everyone was businesslike but wanting to please me every step of the way. The plaster company was really very concerned about my wellbeing and they put up a plastic protection where the bedroom walk through was. This way no dust or dirt would get into the existing bedroom.

Last but not least was Jerry. He is so efficient and a great supervisor. His workers were always doing their job and he made sure that every thing was completed correctly. He got the perfect sink and stand for the new bathroom. Jerry is very personable and he is a great carpenter. He made everything work. I know that he kept you up to date on everything.

Finally, I appreciate the fact that you were here daily to be sure your project was being done correctly.

Dear Leo,

We would like to thank you for the fantastic job Price Builders, Inc. did on the recent addition to our Carmel Valley home. From start to finish your employees and subs were always respectful, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. It quickly became evident to us that our needs were the primary focus and we actually came to feel like a part of the Price Builders family.

As a facilities engineer, I know what it takes to co-ordinate and schedule the various trades to and schedule the various trades to complete a re-model of our size.  In retrospect, I cannot underestimate the value your company brings by taking full responsibility for the architecture, engineering, permitting and construction. Never once were there any issues about responsibility or accountability for specific parts of the build process. The project was completed at the agreed upon price and more that 8 weeks early!

That is almost unheard of in the construction business but illustrates the experience and integrity of the entire staff at Price Builders.

We are thrilled with our new home. We have heard it said that one of the most stressful things you can do is remodel your house while you are still living in it. We did just that and thanks to Price Builders, Inc. we not only lived through it, we slept well every night and enjoyed the experience. Now that we ate done, the children actually miss seeing the Price Builders truck pull up every week day. Thanks again Leo, you are the best!

Leo Finkelstein and his team at Price Builders do very professional and high quality work. We completed a 400 square foot addition and remodel in 2006 that involved taking down an internal weight-bearing wall. Leo supervised the project on almost a daily basis and insisted on perfection like work. The job was finished on time and it really doesn't look like an add-on. Leo has a crew of great workers and top-notch subcontractors. I most highly recommend Price Builders.

Christmas Card 2006

This has been the year of home renovation and new construction.

…In May, construction was started on a new 850 square foot master bedroom addition with new guest and master bathrooms. We felt fortuna5te to have located a very competent contractor for the project who has worked well with Rick’s design. As we speak, the project is nearly completed with Rick doing the detail finishing including tiling the new 5 by 8 foot master shower stall. …

Curtis has told me 5142 Capemay has passed inspection, and we are very pleased with the building.

Dear Leo,

I just wanted to say thank you to you, Albert, Luna, Rick, Jerry and all of the workers on their crews. The addition came out great and we are enjoying living upstairs in our new Master Bedroom Suite. We will enjoy the Nexwood Balcony and mountain view for many years to come.

Merry Christmas!

 Well, they said it couldn’t be done. After 10 long months and lots of dust, the long awaited game room is finally complete (sans furniture and décor). The project that we have been planning for the last 3 years and building for the past year is done. It turned out just as we wanted and we are all very happy with it. In fact, so much so, that we spend all our time in there and wonder why we have the rest of the house. If you haven’t had a chance to come by and enjoy a drink, a game of darts, pools, or pinball, please don’t hesitate to stop by unannounced. The Tabar Sports Bar is always open.
